"I’m not sure there are enough wonderful things to say about Stephanie and everyone at Baggy Basset. Having been scammed previously, I had a lot of questions and concerns when I emailed Stephanie about a litter she had available. Stephanie went above and beyond to make sure I had all of my concerns answered and then some. When I asked Stephanie if we could set up a zoom call in order to see the puppy I was interested in, she downloaded zoom and set up an account, and learned how to use the system, just to show me the puppy and make sure she answered any questions I had, and never having gone through a breeder before, I had a ton of questions!! No matter how many questions or freak out moments I had, Stephanie answered every email quickly and kindly. I got pictures weekly of my baby and she even made sure she circled her in pictures for me until I was able to recognize her. October 17, 2020 I got to take home the most perfect, beautiful basset hound puppy I had ever seen and I couldn’t love her more. Despite having Zelda home with me for over a year, I know without a doubt that Stephanie is still just an email away if I need anything. When Zelda struggled with growing pains, I emailed Stephanie questions and she emailed me right back with suggestions of ways to make her comfortable. I am truly so unbelievably thankful to Stephanie and Baggy Basset for helping me bring home the puppy of my dreams. "We couldn’t be happier or more impressed with Baggy Bassets! We initially discovered Baggy Bassets on the AKC website. It was super important to us that our basset have strong genes and lineage and not be from just anyone (we did not want to risk our pup being from a puppy mill!) After an initial phone call with Stephanie, we were super impressed with her extensive knowledge of the breed and the love she had for her pups. We placed our deposit almost immediately after speaking with her.
From start to finish, the process was smooth and Stephanie was super communicative. After we signed a contract for a future litter, it was a waiting game and Baggy Bassets stayed in touch, giving us updates on the process and future litters. While we were waiting on a male pup, one became available in a current litter, and Stephanie contacted us right away. We were so excited to pick up our puppy earlier than expected. We took him to the vet a few days after we brought him home – not only was he healthy but everyone was in love with him. At 8 months, he is strong, healthy, and what a personality. Months later, if we have any questions, we can always count on Baggy Bassets to reply immediately. We highly recommend Baggy Bassets!"

"I did copious amounts of research in search of a responsible breeder, and I finally found it in Baggy Bassets! Stephanie went above and beyond to answer all of my questions quickly and thoroughly. Since we are not local to Arizona, she was very accommodating and set up a Zoom call with us so that we could see her pregnant mama dog and where she raises her puppies. It really put our minds at ease to see a real person with real dogs before we committed to making a deposit. Additionally, there were contracts that were signed by both parties as part of the purchasing process, which helped my husband and I feel more secure about everything.
Throughout the entire process, Stephanie went out of her way to keep me updated on every new development with the litter and our puppy. She sent pictures and videos quickly, and I never had to wonder what was happening, as she emailed me every time there was news about the upcoming litter. Her comprehensive information helped me feel fully prepared for our new puppy.
When it was time for our sweet little Bowie to come home, they sent him with all of his paperwork, a few days worth of food and vitamins, and even several new toys in a super cute gift bag. Our vet has confirmed that Bowie is in perfect health and even remarked that his eyes look very healthy and not too droopy, as can sometimes be an issue with basset hounds.
I can’t recommend Baggy Bassets enough. If you’re not sure, just go for it, you won’t regret it!"
