Kibble is hard for dogs to process, they are designed to eat raw meat. So processed hard kibble is not the best without added supplements. We recommend adding bone broth or water to their kibble (and allowing it to soak before serving), a raw egg, raw or cooked proteins (raw chicken liver is my most common go to) daily and sardines twice a week. Kibble has a higher level of carbs than is needed so I add proteins. It stretches out the kibble and keeps our dogs gut in good health.
